Colony Lets Booking Terms & Conditions
Colony Lets welcomes you to our holiday accommodation services! By choosing Colony Lets, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. **Contractual Agreement:** This contract, governed by UK law, is between the Owners (“we” or “us”) and the Party Leader (“the Party Leader”) on behalf of all members of the holiday party (“you” or “your”). The contract becomes effective once payment is processed and confirmed by us.
2. **Party Leader Requirements:** The Party Leader must be at least 21 years old at the time of booking. They must provide the full names, ages, and postal addresses of all guests in the holiday party.
3. **Payment:** Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment. Full payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. **Cancellation Policy:** We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy aims to provide flexibility while protecting both parties.
- **Flexible Cancellation:** Cancellations made up to 24 hours before check-in (3:00 PM) will receive a full refund, including all accommodation fees. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before check-in are non-refundable.
- **How to Cancel:** To cancel, please notify us as soon as possible by email or phone. Written confirmation of the cancellation is required. Force Majeure: If unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as a fire, flood, or government restrictions, necessitate the cancellation of your booking, you’ll receive a full refund. However, additional compensation or costs won’t be covered.
Period of Hire Check-in: Check-in is mandatory from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival, and check-out is due by 10:30 AM on the day of departure. Failure to adhere to these times may result in additional charges. The property is exclusively for holiday use during the agreed rental period.
Maximum Occupancy: The property’s maximum occupancy must be strictly adhered to. Any breach of this condition will lead to immediate termination of the booking without a refund. We reserve the right to refuse bookings or terminate stays if we believe the group is unsuitable for the accommodation.
Care of the Property: Guests are responsible for taking all reasonable care of the property and its contents. Smoking and pets are strictly prohibited unless explicitly agreed in writing. Please promptly report any damages or breakages.
Security Deposit: A refundable damage deposit of £150 may be required for certain bookings, at our discretion. This deposit will be refunded within 7 days of departure, minus any deductions for damages or breakages.
Right of Entry: We reserve the right to enter the property at reasonable times for inspections, repairs, or maintenance, with prior notice to guests whenever possible.
Liability: We are not liable for any personal injury, theft, or loss of guest belongings during the stay unless caused by our negligence. Guests are solely responsible for ensuring their own safety and the security of their belongings.
Complaints: If you encounter any issues during your stay, please contact us promptly to resolve them. Complaints made after departure may be more challenging to address.
Privacy: We respect your privacy and handle your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Your information is used solely for booking and communication purposes and is never shared with third parties without your consent.
